Artcomcenter’s director, Hobong Kim, is an artist, art portfolio consultant who has guided many students to college admissions and scholarship success during the course of his over 30 years teaching career. As an art teacher, his first experience was Won-Chon middle school in Seoul, Korea at the age of 23 after graduating from Hong-ik University,and a few years later, he taught at Sun Hwa Art High School for 6years & half. After graduating Hong Ik garduate school, he got studying abroad and earned second MA at NYU graduate school. He has received recognition for his teaching methods from the Alliance for Young Artists and Art & Writing Award since eatablished artcomcenter in1999.
He is now also teaching watercolor class at Korean community Center.
